Canada Drug Information Guide

Substance abuse continues to be one of the most serious and costly issues affecting youth and society today. Studies by Employment and Immigration Canada show that alcohol and drug abuse are the main reasons youth drop out of school.

In 2009, Teri, a YOUTH volunteer with Alcohol-Drug Education Service created Drugfacts.ca in hopes that it’s users could take away information that will help them develop and form good decisions-making skills concerning the topics of drugs and alcohol.

In 2016, Drugfacts.ca was expanded to include a wide variety of information on addictions in Canada, including newer ‘drugs’ and forms of addiction including Sex, Porn, the internet, food, and beyond.
